After working in non-profits and school districts for eight years and specializing in education for Hispanics and non-English speakers, Estela launched El Nido, the first parent magazine in Spanish for immigrant families in Central Alabama. She partners with other Spanish media outlets and community organizations to ensure that Alabama Hispanic communities are informed and well-served. She is passionate about equity in education, language access, and parent education.
