Before joining Alabama Public Television as an Education Specialist, Cody spent over 15 years in education as a secondary ELA teacher, curriculum developer, and fine arts director. He also served as Executive Director of a non-profit theatre company, where he built strong community partnerships and directed numerous productions. Cody lives in Trussville, Alabama with his son, Jack.
