The American Revolution & The 14th Colony

PBS fans are invited to enjoy a reception at 5:30 on March 5 in the auditorium at Dahlgren Hall at Coastal Alabama Community College in Fairhope, 450 Fairhope Ave, Fairhope, AL 36532. The program will begin at 6:30pm with a segment of THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION series, followed by Mike Bunn’s talk and a panel discussion featuring local historian Dr. Philip J. Carr, archaeologist Sarah Price, and Andrea McGhee of the Poarch Creek, examining the role of the Fourteenth Colony (which included West Florida, Alabama and Mississippi) and of Native American tribes in the area, in the outcome of the Revolution.
