Preview Screenings: Ken Burns’ THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION

Step back in time and be among the first to witness the dawn of our nation through the eyes of acclaimed filmmaker Ken Burns. On Friday, October 3, 2025, Alabama Public Television and the American Village in Montevallo cordially invite you to a special preview screening of excerpts from the highly anticipated documentary, THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION. Join us at the West Wing Theatre for hourly screenings from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. In addition to this cinematic preview, guests will be treated to exclusive tours of the magnificent new wing of Independence Hall. As a cornerstone for Revolutionary War education and a leader in the statewide celebration of America's 250th birthday, or semiquincentennial, there is no more fitting place to experience this pivotal moment in history.
