APT's Randy Scott and Clotilda descendant Veda Robbins explore the back story of the Africatown Heritage House, remembering the 110 enslaved Africans brought to Mobile, Alabama on the slave ship Clotilda in 1860 - and the 32 of them who created the Africatown community after the Civil War. The program provides insight into efforts to recover artifacts from the wreckage of the slave ship Clotilda as well as the memories passed down though multiple generations about the people.
