Hannah launched her career DEBT-FREE using scholarships and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding to earn an associate’s degree from the Alabama Aviation College at Enterprise State Community College. Aviation technicians are in high demand in Alabama, and annual income ranges from $47,630 to $74,448. High school students interested in pursuing a career as an aviation technician or in learning more about funding opportunities are encouraged to reach out to their school counselors or career coaches. Interested adults are encouraged to connect with their local community colleges or career centers, where they can learn more information about career options and available funding for approved programs at area colleges and other local training providers through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
