The elementary school years are a time of rapid growth for children. Physical development encompasses more than observable growth in school-aged children's bodies. Fine motor skills, coordination, balance, and endurance are also developed. In this 2-hour, on-demand course, using PBS KIDS resources and activities, early child care educators will learn the milestones of school-aged children's physical development as well as learning strategies for promoting healthy growth.
