BROADCASTING SUNDAY, MARCH 8 starting at 7 PM
Fans may remember when Sense and Sensibility premiered in 2008, starring Dominic Cooper, Janet McTeer, Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey), Lucy Boynton and more.
From acclaimed writer Andrew Davies (Pride & Prejudice, 1995) comes this enchanting 3-part adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic novel about love and marriage. Marianne Dashwood wears her heart on her sleeve when she falls in love with the charming but unsuitable John Willoughby. Elinor, sensitive to social convention, struggles to conceal her own romantic disappointment, even from those closest to her.
Episode 101: When Mr. Dashwood passes away, Mrs. Dashwood and her daughters are forced to move into a tiny Devonshire cottage and start their lives again.
Episode 102: While Colonel Brandon is away on business in London, Marianne and Willoughby find themselves falling in love.
Episode 103: Heartbroken at the hands of Willoughby and Edward, Marianne and Elinor travel to Cleveland; when they return to Devon, there’s some good news.
