Friday Cinema Classics

See great moments in film history every Friday afternoon at 3:30 or enjoy online with Passport.

FRIDAY AT THE MOVIES!

Premieres Friday, July 5 at 3:30pm

Enjoy some of the greatest moments in movie history beginning this month as we debut Friday Cinema Classics. Tune in every Friday at 3:30 for comedy, drama, mystery and romance featuring the leading actors, actresses and directors from Hollywood’s Golden Age.

Legendary star John Wayne seemed to be the right choice to get things started on the afternoon following Independence Day. We’ll present three movies from “The Duke’s” long career beginning with his breakout role in Stagecoach (1939) on July 5, followed by The Angel and the Badman (1947) on July 12 and McLintock (1963) on July 19. We’ll conclude the month with an Alabama classic, To Kill a Mockingbird starring Gregory Peck on July 26.

Passport members will be able to stream the first 20 of our Cinema Classics on-demand beginning July 5, with another 20 films being added every few months throughout the coming year!

Whether you tune in on Fridays or stream with Passport, we hope you’ll enjoy this new opportunity to see these great moments in the history of filmmaking.
