SEE THE BELOVED ITALIAN TENOR
Maestro Andrea Bocelli, the iconic Italian legend and one of the most beloved and recognized musical voices in the world, is coming to Alabama as part of his 2026 Romanza – 30th Anniversary World Tour. Celebrating his widely-acclaimed 1997 breakthrough album Romanza, Bocelli will perform many of these famed songs live, including timeless favorites like Con Te Partirò.
Presented by AEG Presents, the North American leg of the tour will see Bocelli play seven arenas across the country, including the Legacy Arena at the BJCC in Birmingham, and Alabama Public Television has tickets for prime seats available for your financial support. Tickets for the Sunday, February 22, 2026 performance are $500 each. Call APT Member Services today at 1-800-239-5233 or visit our online ticketing form.
“We’re excited by this incredible opportunity for Alabama residents to experience the most successful classical artist of our time,” said APT executive director, Wayne Reid. “We have viewers all across the state who love Andrea Bocelli from his many appearances on programs like Great Performances, and our partnership with AEG Presents provides a rare opportunity for people to experience his music live.”
APT will broadcast encores of last January’s Great Performances: Andrea Bocelli 30th – The Celebration on December 26, 28 and 31st to reach all our viewers.
Alabama Public Television needs your help to replace $2.8 million in our budget due to the elimination of federal funding for public media earlier this year. Special events like this appearance of Andrea Bocelli in Birmingham are one way APT supporters can help fill that gap. Learn how else you can help.

Romanza also topped the charts in 11 countries and reached the top of Billboard’s U.S. World Albums and Top Catalog Albums charts.
