1. Call the Midwife | Season 15

Premiering Sunday, March 22 at 7 p.m.
A new era dawns with the Women’s Liberation Movement.
Season 15 transports viewers to 1971 as our favorite characters, including Helen George’s Trixie Franklin and Renee Bailey’s Joyce Highland, lead a march for the Women’s Liberation Movement. Sister Julienne, Dr. Turner and the Nonnatus House team face serious challenges. More babies are being born in hospital, and a complete reorganization of the National Health Service is on its way.
This season sees a premature baby kept alive by machines in a high-tech incubator and a mother’s childbirth agony vanish as she is given a pioneering epidural. Plus, the team handle cases including slavery, carbon monoxide poisoning, male breast cancer, child cruelty, and lupus. Throughout it all, the nuns and midwives are there to hold their patient’s hands.
