Join us for a day of engaging professional development as we explore the American Revolution. Discover how Alabama Public Television and PBS Learning Media resources can bring this period in history to life with high-quality videos, lesson plans, and classroom-ready materials. Participants will also take a guided tour of the exhibits available at The Alabama Department of Archives and History, to round out the day.
Target Age Group:
4th - 6th grade Alabama educators, but any Alabama teacher can attend. (Note: This event is for adults only.)
Date/Time:
The event begins Wednesday, August 5th at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

Parking:
Limited, free parking is available in a lot directly behind the building on Adams Avenue.
On-street parking is available in the surrounding blocks on Washington Avenue, Bainbridge Street, and Adams Avenue.
Please note the south (Adams Avenue) entrance to the building bears the inscription ALABAMA WORLD WAR MEMORIAL above the doors.
