Brian & Maggie

Premieres Sunday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m.

If you’re looking for a fast-paced biopic to binge, you won’t want to miss BRIAN & MAGGIE. It’s a brand new two-part drama full of political suspense and betrayal from the director of 2006’s The Queen, starring Steven Coogan, Harriet Walter and Ross Armstrong.

It’s 1989, and two old friends, politician-turned-journalist Brian Walden and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, sit for one of the most famous interviews of all time, one that ends a political era, a long-term friendship and reshapes national opinion, triggering the downfall of the Iron Lady.

Maigret

Premieres Sunday, Oct. 5 at 8 p.m.

Whether you’ve read the novels this show is based on or you just love a handsome detective, we think this new show from Masterpiece will be one you watch to the end. Maigret is the first contemporary television adaptation of Georges Simenon’s beloved novels about the streetwise Parisian Chief Inspector Jules Maigret, starring Benjamin Wainwright (Belgravia: The Next ChapterLord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim), Stefanie Martini (The GoldLast KingdomEmerald City), Blake Harrison (World on Fire, I Hate Suzie Too), Reda Elazouar (Sex Education, Pirates) and more.

The Gold

Premieres Sunday, Oct. 5 at 9 p.m.

Fans of crime thrillers and true stories won’t want to miss this next record-setting mystery from Masterpiece, starring Hugh Bonneville (Downton AbbeyPaddington in Peru), Emun Elliot (Guilt), Jack Lowden (Slow Horses) and Charlotte Spencer (The Duke).

Inspired by true events, The Gold follows the events surrounding the 1983 Brink’s-Mat robbery, one of the largest robberies in British history. Episode one begins right in the middle of the action as six armed men steal £26m worth of gold.
