Title: Broadcast Services Technician

Description: Alabama Public Television (APT) is seeking a full-time Broadcast Services Technician to support our two studios located in Montgomery, AL. APT operates 9 Television Broadcast transmitter sites with 20 microwave transmitter sites, over 2200 miles of two-way digital microwave, a satellite distribution network and a remote production trailer.
Schedule: Full Time
Requirements: Qualifications include: Graduation from an accredited junior college or technical school, or High School Diploma/GED and 2-5 years’ experience operating, maintaining and repairing television transmission and production equipment. Strong computer, technical, trouble-shooting, and organizational skills, ability to work independently, and to effectively communicate and work with internal personnel and external representatives, contractors, and/or vendors.
