Eva Frontier Days 2023: A Return to Hometown Fun and Tradition

Eva Frontier Days, the cherished annual event that unites our community in North Alabama, is back this year to offer a week filled with wholesome entertainment, camaraderie, and a celebration of our rich heritage. Set to take place from September 23-30, 2023, this year's Eva Frontier Days promises to be an unforgettable experience for all ages.
Eva Frontier Days has long been a tradition and a testament to the enduring spirit of Eva. Just like the old times, this year's event will feature a delightful lineup of activities, including:
Rodeo Kickoff: The festivities commence with a Barrel Bash on Friday, September 22nd at Frost Farms, located at 1752 Frost Rd. Gates will swing open at 6 p.m., and the adrenaline-pumping action will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
Hayride Extravaganza: Experience a delightful hayride on Tuesday, September 26th, at 6:30 p.m., starting from the Eva School. For just $1 per person, you can enjoy a scenic ride and receive a complimentary hotdog and drink at the conclusion of the journey.
Community Spirit: On Thursday, September 28th, at 7 p.m., Eva Church of Christ will host an old-fashioned hymnbook singing, fostering a sense of togetherness and spiritual harmony.
Music on the Square: Friday, September 29th, promises an evening of music and merriment on the square, beginning at 6 p.m. Josh Troupe will take the stage under the entertainment tent, and admission is free, ensuring everyone can join in on the fun.
Main Event Day: The grand day arrives on Saturday, September 30th, starting at 9 a.m. with an arts and craft show, delectable food vendors, and a captivating antique tractor and car show. The excitement continues with a lively parade at 11 a.m., followed by riveting live entertainment at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., featuring the renowned David Davis and the Warrior River Boys. The day also includes a pig-calling contest at 11:45 a.m. and concludes with a frolicking frog-jumping contest at 3:30 p.m. and the exhilarating greased pig chase at 4:30 p.m.
