Chaplains Part 1 on Alabama Public Television
Alabama Public Television Education

Part 1

CHAPLAINS explores the dynamic world of men and women who work on the front lines of faith - representing their own particular faith or religious tradition, but are trained to be of comfort and support to everyone - religious or not. It is a profession dating back to the fourth century yet is as contemporary as any today. Episode # 1 profiles Chaplain Paul Hurley, a Catholic priest and Senior Chaplain in Afghanistan, Tyson Foods, the poultry company with more than 100 chaplains on staff, and a Buddhist woman chaplain working in a men's maximum security prison.
