In this 3-week facilitated course, participants will explore the topics of race and racism and gain a clear understanding of how and why it persists. Participants will develop a deeper understanding of diversity, tolerance, compassion, and empathy toward others. This workshop will also explore how educators can learn to successfully lay the foundation for inclusion and acceptance in the child care setting by promoting awareness as we strive toward a more ethnically inclusive world.
