Alabama Public Television is launching the APT Teacher Ambassador Program. This initiative combines our Certified Educator and Teacher Ambassador programs into one opportunity for educators.

As an APT Ambassador, you’ll be able to shape, support and share APT’s K-12 educational resources. You’ll act as a liaison between APT and your school community offering feedback, ideas and helping us ensure our resources best serve Alabama’s teachers and students.

What’s involved?
  • Complete an Online Course (September-November 2025)
    • Earn 10 hours of professional development credit.
  • Join Quarterly Virtual Meetups
    • Connect with other ambassadors and APT staff. PD credit awarded.
  • Participate in or Lead Outreach Events
    • Represent APT at educational events. Stipends provided.

Apply now and help us strengthen educational opportunities in every Alabama classroom. Applications will close on September 1, 2025.
