Alabama STEM Explorers, the series which shares the excitement of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math with students every Saturday morning on APT, is looking for new student hosts. Student hosts will travel to locations throughout the state to record episodes for the 2023-2024 season of Alabama STEM Explorers which premieres October 7.
This is a tremendous opportunity for students to learn skills in television/video presentation and explore the world of science and technology - and each host will receive a $5,000 scholarship through the Alabama 529 Scholarship Fund.
Students ages 11 to 13 who are interested in STEM and acting are welcome to audition at one of the following locations on Saturday, July 15:

Hi, I’m (insert your name) Welcome to Alabama STEM Explorers, on today’s show we’ll explore Physics using a fire extinguisher and Roller Skates. How cool is that? Then, we’ll talk with a real astronomer about the world’s biggest telescope. All this and more today on Alabama STEM Explorers!
