Some of the brightest stars in country music gathered at Jacksonville State University in December 2023 for an intimate concert to establish JSU scholarships and benefit the Randy Owen Center for the Performing Arts (ROC). Now we’re pleased to bring you highlights of the concert featuring former JSU students-turned-Nashville-hitmakers Randy Owen, Jamey Johnson, Riley Green and Gordon Mote. JSU alumnus Bill "Bubba" Bussey, cohost of the Rick and Bubba Show, serves as emcee of ROC ON: Randy Owen Center Concert Series at Jax State.

Performances in the ninety-minute special include "That’s What I’ve Been Told” and “Bury Me in Dixie” by Riley Green, “High Cost of Living” and “Lonesome Song” by Jamey Johnson, “Christmas in Dixie” and “Feels so Right” by Randy Owen, “If They Could See You Through My Eyes” by Gordon Mote and more. ROC ON is a production of Jacksonville State University.

ROC ON can also be streamed at aptv.org and the PBS app.
