APT’s MONOGRAPH is honored to bring you a very special episode Monday night paying tribute to one of Alabama’s most prolific vernacular artists, the late Thornton Dial. Host Jackie Clay talks with Thornton Dial’s family and speaks with Dial’s friend, fellow artist Lonnie Holley.
Tonight at 5:30pm, the public is invited to the Alys Stephen's Center and Abroms-Engel Institute for the Visual Arts (AEIVA) for a free "Movie, Pizza and a Tour."

- Join us at the Reynolds-Kirschbaum Recital Hall at UAB’s Alys Stephens Center for the special screening on Tonight at 5:30pm
- Q& A will follow the screening moderated by Gareth Jones, UAB Director of the Office of Service Learning and Undergraduate Education, with the Monograph production team.
- Make your way across the street to Abroms-Engel Institute for the Visual Arts for pizza and to take a tour of our latest exhibition Thornton Dial: I, Too, Am Alabama.
