Several days of rain and severe weather have delayed the tower crew replacing the antenna for WHIQ, Channel 25 serving much of North Alabama. Completion of the project is now expected to be Sunday, June 13 or Monday, June 14 and WHIQ will be off the air throughout this time.
IT IS POSSIBLE to livestream APT broadcasts online on our WATCH page, or on the free PBS App, available for phones, tablets, smart televisions, and on Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV and Chromecast.
We're sorry for the disruption caused by the replacement, but the new antenna will provide improved service to the Huntsville area for many years to come.
