Hero Elementary

PBS Kids returns to daytime schedule featuring brand new series!
BEGINNING JUNE 1!

NEW PBS KIDS SERIES NOW WEEKDAYS!

There are some new heroes in town beginning June 1 on Alabama Public Television - but these young heroes still need schooling. HERO ELEMENTARY is the place to get it.

HERO ELEMENTARY is a school for budding superheroes, where kids learn to master their innate powers, like flying and teleportation, while exploring science along the way. HERO ELEMENTARY aims to give children ages 4 to 7 the tools to solve problems by thinking and acting like scientists and igniting their natural curiosity and empathy. HERO ELEMENTARY will air Weekdays at 7:00am and 1:00pm on APT and 7:00pm on our PBS Kids Channel. Children can see clips from the show and play games at the HERO ELEMENTARY website.

Now that Alabama Schools have finished the 2019-2020 school term, the daytime broadcasts of programs for older students that Alabama Public Television has been providing since April will come to an end. Some programming for older students will be included during the day throughout the summer on our WORLD Channel, and APT is offering extensive learning opportunities online during the next few months. LEARN MORE.
