Florence Transmitter On-Air!

APT's WFIQ transmitter for the Florence area is back on the air with its new antenna.

FLORENCE ANTENNA REPLACED

New WFIQ transmitter antenna on truck trailer.Tower crews have completed their work on replacement of the antenna for APT's Florence transmitter, WFIQ Channel 36.  The transmitter is now back on-air and operating normally. We're sorry for the disruption this replacement caused for viewers, but the new antenna will provide improved service to the Florence area for many years to come.

Just as a reminder, when any of our transmitters is down due to maintenance work or any other reason, it is POSSIBLE to livestream APT broadcasts here on the WATCH page, or on the PBS App.
