Dozier Transmitter Update

APT's Dozier area transmitter, WDIQ Channel 2, will be off-air starting Wednesday, October 4.

A tower crew is replacing the antenna for Alabama Public Television's Dozier area transmitter, WDIQ. The station will be off the air for a couple of days beginning Wednesday, Oct. 4. More interruptions will follow as work continues.

We're sorry for the disruption this replacement will cause, but the new antenna will provide improved service to the Dozier area for many years to come.

When any of our transmitters are down due to maintenance work or any other reason, it is possible to live stream APT broadcasts on the WATCH page or on the free PBS App, available for phones, tablets, smart televisions, and on Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV and Chromecast.
