SUNDAY, MARCH 10 at 7:00PM

Twenty-five years ago, producer TJ Lubinsky, grandson of Savoy Records found Herman Lubinsky, created a wave of nostalgia with a hugely popular program called Doo Wop 50, bringing a multitude of stars from the 1950s and 1960s back to the stage to recreate their hits. In the ensuing years, Lubinsky brought PBS several more highly successful Doo Wop programs and then widened the scope of his MY MUSIC series to include many different types of music, including rock, folk, soul, country, pop and more.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of MY MUSIC, Lubinsky taps into all these years of music revivals to present performances that didn't make it into earlier specials. ALL NEW ROCK, POP AND DOO WOP features full-length performances from Johnny Maestro, The Duprees, Jay Back, Little Anthony & The Imperials, Ronnie Spector, Frankie Valli, Jerry Butler and many others.  Lubinsky hosts the special himself and offers insight into the history and the lives of the performers and reason why their music is still enjoyed by audiences today.
