All Creatures Season 2 Marathon

Return to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales on Sunday as we conclude our All Creatures Season 2 marathon.

SUNDAY, JUNE 12, 6:00-10:00PM

The tremendously popular MASTERPIECE adaptation of All Creatures Great and Small returns to Alabama Public Television again on Sunday, giving viewers another chance to enjoy this charming drama of rural life in England and setting the stage for a summer filled with great drama!

The climax of season one saw Helen Alderson (Academy Award-winner Rachel Shenton) call off her impending wedding to wealthy landowner Hugh Hulton, having developed a close friendship with James Herrriot, played by Nicholas Ralph. Last week we followed James' return from Glasgow where he has been visiting his parents for Easter and his tough decision about whether he should return to Scotland and a promising new job or stay in Yorkshire. Helen definitely has some thoughts about that. Join us for the remaining three episodes - and James' final decision - on Sunday.

Make a contribution to APT this week and choose from a selection of All Creatures Great and Small thank-you gifts. Great drama on APT is made possible by you!

In Season 8, set in 1971, our heroes investigate suspected IRA retaliations, the murder of a
local cab driver, and the peculiar killing of a college fellow which results in

struggle with his inner demons, the team wonders if he is beyond the point
of no return.
