Alabama Public Television and Sidewalk Film Festival and Cinema present a special screening of the first episode of the new PBS series FIGHT THE POWER: HOW HIP HOP CHANGED THE WORLD. The free screening is part of Sidewalk's 2023 Black Lens Film Week.

FIGHT THE POWER: HOW HIP HOP CHANGED THE WORLD, airing Tuesday nights in February on APT, is an incredible narrative of struggle, triumph and resistance that will be brought to life through the lens of an art form that has chronicled the emotions,experiences and expressions of Black and Brown communities: Hip Hop.
