APT operates 9 transmitter sites with 18 transmitters, over 2200 miles of two-way digital microwave and a satellite distribution network. |

Requirements: |
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited junior college or technical school with a two-year degree in electronic communications, industrial electronics, computer science, or a closely related major, or High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years experience operating and maintaining broadcast transmitter equipment. The individual in this position will be utilizing computer and technical skills to assist in the operations, maintenance and repair of electronic television production and broadcasting equipment. |

This is a State of Alabama Merit System position. Class Code: 30661, Option 145, Pay Grade: 6468. Salary range: ($29,371.20 - $49,190.40). To apply, use an Application for Examination form.
