During the Vietnam War, 1,210 Alabama residents lost their lives. Each of their names appear on the Wall of Faces. Of those who died, some do not have a photo. Dr. Blake Busbin and his students at Auburn High School are working to locate a photo for each Alabama serviceman who gave the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam. When they started the project, there were 674 Alabama servicemen killed in Vietnam with photos missing and when APT put this list online the count was 356.  Now, the list consists of 0 names still needing photos.

We are happy to announce Alabama now has 100% of the photos needed to represent the men who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country during the Vietnam War.  We owe a debt of gratitude to those men and their families.  We will never forget.

Thank you to everyone who helped locate a missing photo.  A special shout out to Dr. Blake Busbin and his classes at Auburn High School who have faithfully worked on this project to honor Alabama's fallen on The Wall of Faces.
