Hong Kong Protests

Demonstrators say they are fighting for fundamental reforms that China promised but failed to deliver. For months, Hong Kong residents protested against their government, demanding the withdrawal of legislation that would have allowed for the extradition of criminals to mainland China. Although the bill was suspended, protesters say they are continuing the fight for fundamental reforms that China promised but failed to deliver. For its part, China says it is trying to maintain stability. NewsHour's Nick Schifrin reports the story in this final installment in a 10-part series, 'China: Power and Prosperity,' which is supported by the Pulitzer Center.
