This film traces the Dionne Warwick's musical roots in the church, where she sang as a teen in a gospel group. The film presents for the first time, rare, full-length archival performances of the Warwick-Bacharach-David 1960s favorites, as well as Warwick's smash hits from the 1970s and 1980s, including "Then Came You" (with The Spinners), "I'll Never Love This Way Again," "Heartbreaker" and "That's What Friends Are For" (with Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight and Elton John).
