Alabama’s shrimp industry took a hit because of Hurricane Katrina. In the town of Bayou La Batre, most people survive off the sea food industry. Here the storm flattened buildings and tossed shrimp boats around, leaving some of them on land. Some businesses are back up and running or close to restarting operations, but the storm may mean the end of other businesses.
